Personal History
Proud to be from Philly, Dr. Hepp was born and raised in Philadelphia. Graduating with phi beta kappa honors from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, Dr. Hepp received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and his cardiology fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center, both in Philadelphia.
Dr. Hepp joined Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants in July 1995 with specialization in non-invasive cardiology, including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. A fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Hepp is board certified in cardiovascular disease and is also an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Hepp held several leadership positions at Morton Plant and Mease Hospitals over the years. He served as vice chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine 2004-2005 and was a member of the Credentials Committee for several years.
Dr. Hepp was President of the Children’s Heart Foundation, Florida Chapter, where he was instrumental in raising awareness and funds for congenital heart defect research.
Dr. Hepp is available to see patients at the Countryside office.
