Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants uses the specialized skills of both nurse practitioners and physician assistants in caring for our patients. These professionals are known as advanced practice providers (APP).  Our APP team work in close collaboration with our physicians in the management of patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.

In the office, they work closely with our physicians by performing evaluations, ordering testing, developing treatment plans and prescribing medications.  In addition our APP team assist in the supervision of stress testing  and oversee our Care Center providing guidance, facilitating care and  answering your questions about your cardiovascular treatment plan in a timely fashion.

In the hospital, they work closely with our physicians to provide efficient and high quality inpatient care.  They contribute by taking thorough histories and physical examinations, ordering testing, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. They also help with post procedure instruction and expedite hospital discharges.
